Trademark registration fee in Turkey 2026: what the latest TÜRKPATENT schedule says
The trademark registration fee in Turkey for 2026 means TRY 9,830 in official fees for a single-class file: a TRY 2,820 filing fee and a TRY 7,010 registration fee. The figures come from the TÜRKPATENT schedule published in the Official Gazette dated 31 December 2025 and in force since 1 January 2026. The same two items stand at TRY 2,350 and TRY 5,790 in the 2025 schedule. The increase is about 20 percent.
These are official fees. An attorney’s service fee and its VAT come on top. Payment comes in two stages: the filing fee on filing day, the registration fee after publication and opposition.
What does the 2026 schedule change?
The 2026 schedule brings an update of roughly 20 to 25 percent across most trademark transactions. The Communiqué on the Fee Schedule to be Applied by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office in 2026 appears in the 5th repeated issue of Official Gazette No. 33124, dated 31 December 2025. The schedule has applied since 1 January 2026 and holds until the end of the year.
What does each trademark transaction cost in 2026?
The 2026 figures on the office’s Trademark Transaction Fees page clearly show the items a small brand will meet. A single-class application is TRY 2,820, each class from the third onwards TRY 3,150 and registration TRY 7,010. The table below collects the eight most common items. The amounts are official fees and exclude attorney fees.

How big is the increase compared with 2025?
The filing fee rises from TRY 2,350 to TRY 2,820, up 20 percent; the registration fee rises from TRY 5,790 to TRY 7,010, up about 21 percent. The two-item official total for a single-class file goes from TRY 8,140 to TRY 9,830. The difference is TRY 1,690. For a shopkeeper short on cash it is not a huge sum, but it needs a line in the budget.

One, two, three classes: what is the official total out of pocket?
The official total grows with the number of classes. It is TRY 9,830 for one class, TRY 12,650 for two and TRY 15,800 for three. The maths is simple: add the filing fee, the additional class fees and the registration fee. The registration fee appears as a single line on the office’s list; the part that grows with more classes is the filing side.

- Add TRY 2,820 each for the first two classes and TRY 3,150 for every class after that.
- Add the TRY 7,010 registration fee; put any attorney fee on a separate line.

Say you make handmade soap and cream in Beylikdüzü. The products fall into class 3, where cosmetics sit. If you also want to protect selling from your own site, you consider class 35 for retail services; the two-class official total is TRY 12,650.

At which stage are the fees paid?
There are two main payment moments. Filing and class fees are paid on filing. The registration fee is requested after publication in the Official Trademark Bulletin and the 2-month opposition period. With months in between, you can split the cash plan in two; the total stays the same.
What is the difference between the official fee and the attorney fee?
The official fee is the office’s schedule and is the same for everyone. The attorney fee is the trademark attorney’s service charge; it is set freely and VAT is added on top. A person resident in Turkey can file on their own, and an attorney is not mandatory. But experience with class selection, similarity assessment and answering oppositions can reduce costs that show up later.
