Ministry Logo Rules in Turkish Grant Visibility: Where Each Mark Goes

Ministry Logo Rules in Turkish Grant Visibility: Where Each Mark Goes

Three marks, three fixed positions. According to the current version of the visibility guide published by İpekyolu Development Agency (İKA), the regional public body running state-funded grant programs in Gaziantep, Adıyaman and Kilis, the Ministry of Industry and Technology logo goes at the far left of a funded project’s materials, the agency logo at the far right, and the beneficiary’s logo, together with partners and affiliates if desired, in the center. The agency and ministry marks must carry the same size and visibility as the beneficiary’s. The #YerelKalkınmaHamlesi hashtag travels with the ministry logo at ordinary project events and is dropped once a second ministry’s logo appears, where the ministry mark is then used in red.

Say you install solar panels in Adıyaman, in southeastern Turkey, and your 2026 grant project has an opening event in three weeks. Your printer needs the logo order, the hashtag decision and the color codes before it quotes. The guide carries no publication date, so confirm the current file on the agency’s own site.

WHERE

Where does each mark go on a funded project’s materials?

BU BÖLÜMÜN ÖZETİ

  • The order is an instruction, not a layout suggestion
  • Partners and affiliates sit with the beneficiary
  • The same logic carries to the web page

In a fixed left-to-right arrangement that the guide states plainly. Ministry logo at the far left. Agency logo at the far right. Beneficiary in the center, with partner and affiliate logos beside it if the beneficiary wants them there. The arrangement applies across the materials the guide covers, from signboards to web pages.

The order is an instruction, not a layout suggestion

The guide writes the positions as a requirement rather than an example. That matters because designers read a sample layout as inspiration. Hand the printer the sentence, not the picture, and the first proof usually comes back correct.

In a fixed left-to-right arrangement that the guide states plainly.

Partners and affiliates sit with the beneficiary

If your project has partners or affiliates, their logos belong in the center block alongside yours, not on the ministry or agency side. The outer two positions are reserved. Treat them as fixed furniture that your own marks arrange themselves around.

The same logic carries to the web page

The agency applies the same hierarchy to the project web page, where it usually lands in the footer with the disclaimer. The build steps for that page sit in grant project website requirements, including the links the guide wants on the funder logos.

HOW

How big may each logo be?

Large enough to be equal, and capped where the beneficiary is concerned. The guide requires the agency and ministry logos to be the same size and visibility as the beneficiary and partner logos. It then limits the other side: a beneficiary’s vertical logo may not exceed the ministry emblem’s diameter.

Two caps, one on each axis

For vertical logos the ceiling is the diameter of the ministry emblem. For horizontal logos the guide sets the ceiling at two emblem widths. Both caps exist to stop a beneficiary’s mark dominating a board that public money paid for.

Large enough to be equal, and capped where the beneficiary is concerned.

There is a floor as well as a ceiling

The agency logo has published minimums: 8 mm in height for horizontal use and 15 mm in height for vertical use, below which the guide says it may not be printed. The guide also requires clear space around the logo that no text, symbol or photograph may enter.

WHEN

When is the #YerelKalkınmaHamlesi hashtag used, and when is it dropped?

BU BÖLÜMÜN ÖZETİ

  • The rule, as the guide writes it
  • It repeats across three materials
  • Backdrops split the treatment within one surface

It depends on whose logos share the surface. For events and organizations without joint ministry participation, the guide specifies the version of the Ministry of Industry and Technology logo that carries the #YerelKalkınmaHamlesi tag. When a ministry other than Industry and Technology also appears, the tag is not used.

The rule, as the guide writes it

Where visibility work is produced for a ministry-attended organization or event and a logo belonging to a ministry other than Industry and Technology is present, the guide states that the #YerelKalkınmaHamlesi expression is not used, and that the Ministry of Industry and Technology logo is then used in red.

It repeats across three materials

The same two sentences appear in the guide’s sections on roll-ups, swallowtail flags and sail flags, each time in the joint-participation variant. Repetition across materials is how the guide signals a general rule rather than a one-off instruction for a single item.

Backdrops split the treatment within one surface

For backdrops the guide asks for the colored-hashtag version of the ministry logo in the position above, and the white version of the ministry logo in the section below the program title. One surface, two treatments, decided by position rather than by event type.

When the YerelKalkinmaHamlesi hashtag is used on grant materials and when a second ministry logo removes it
A second ministry on the surface changes the rule.
WHICH

Which logo, wording and color does each situation call for?

The table reads the guide situation by situation. Every entry in it comes from the published document rather than from practice, and nothing in it overrides the annex attached to your own contract. Use it to brief a designer in one pass, then verify each line against your own file.

Situation Logo Wording Color
Event with a second ministry’s logo present Ministry of Industry and Technology far left, agency far right #YerelKalkınmaHamlesi not used Ministry logo used in red, HTML DB0032
Event or organization without joint ministry participation Ministry logo version carrying the hashtag #YerelKalkınmaHamlesi used Published palette, hashtag in color
Backdrop, above the program title Ministry logo, colored-hashtag version Hashtag visible in color Red DB0032, black 101820, green 00a651
Backdrop, below the program title Ministry logo, white version Hashtag in the white treatment White on the backdrop ground
Roll-up produced inside the project Agency logo with the project visual Supported by İpekyolu Development Agency under the named year and support program Agency’s published logo colors
Any printed or digital material Ministry left, agency right, beneficiary centered Disclaimer at the foot of the material Published codes, never departed from

The published color codes

The guide prints three: red as Pantone 199 C, CMYK 7-100-85-1, RGB 219-0-50, HTML DB0032; black as Pantone Black 6 C, CMYK 82-71-59-75, RGB 16-24-32, HTML 101820; and green as Pantone 7481 C, CMYK 100-0-100-0, RGB 0-166-81, HTML 00a651. The guide states the codes must never be departed from.

Use the agency’s vector file, not a rebuild

The guide requires the original vector artwork obtainable from the agency and says the logo must not be recreated in design software. Proportions may not be altered. It also states that the logos and standard expressions may not be used on commercial products or packaging without the agency secretariat’s written permission.

WHAT

What this means for you

BU BÖLÜMÜN ÖZETİ

  • Decide the hashtag per event, not per project
  • Build one artwork file, then two variants
  • Get the exceptions confirmed in writing

Three practical consequences before you order anything. Your logo order is decided, not negotiable. Your hashtag decision depends on who else attends, so it is an event-by-event call. And your color values are fixed numbers you can hand a printer, which removes the most common source of reprints.

Decide the hashtag per event, not per project

Ask one question for every event: will a ministry other than Industry and Technology have a logo on the surface. If yes, the tag comes off and the ministry mark goes red. If no, the hashtag version is the one you use.

Three practical consequences before you order anything.

Build one artwork file, then two variants

Produce a master file with the correct order, the equal sizing and the published colors. Then save a with-hashtag variant and a red, no-hashtag variant. Flags, roll-ups and backdrops then draw from one approved source instead of three improvised ones.

Get the exceptions confirmed in writing

The guide says the final form of logo use on promotional materials is settled in discussion with the monitoring expert assigned to your contract. Send the proof by e-mail and ask for written confirmation. File the reply with your evidence, alongside the deadlines in grant visibility obligation period.

Published color codes for the ministry logo in Turkish grant visibility materials, in Pantone, CMYK, RGB and HTML
Three colors, four notations, no room to improvise.
HOW

How do you confirm you are reading the current guide?

By going to the source rather than to a copy. The document carries no publication date, so a file saved on a shared drive two program years ago cannot be dated by looking at it. Download the guide from the agency’s own site and keep the download date with it.

Check the agency site, then the contract annex

İKA publishes through ika.org.tr and the ministry through sanayi.gov.tr. The binding version remains the annex attached to your own contract, and the legal basis for the whole obligation is article 46 of the Regulation on Supporting Development Agency Projects and Activities.

Other funders set different ratios

These rules belong to one agency’s guide. Other funders write their own: the TÜBİTAK 4006 Science Fairs guide, for instance, caps institution logos at 80 percent of the TÜBİTAK and program logos. Material dimensions across funders are collected in grant visibility requirements turkey.

Common mistake: reusing last year’s artwork for a joint event. The hashtag version is correct for an ordinary project event and wrong the moment a second ministry’s logo appears on the same surface, where the ministry mark has to be red and the tag has to come off. One file, two events, one reprint.

Download the current guide from the agency site today, build the master artwork file, and send the proof to your monitoring officer for written confirmation. If you would rather hand the artwork, the materials and the evidence folder to someone else, our visibility service produces them to your own guide, and the remote arrangement is described in grant visibility service turkey.

Sık Sorulan Sorular

Can my company logo be larger than the agency and ministry logos?

No. The guide requires the agency and Ministry of Industry and Technology logos to be the same size and visibility as the beneficiary and partner logos, and then caps the beneficiary side: a vertical logo may not exceed the ministry emblem’s diameter and a horizontal logo may not exceed two emblem widths. Equal is the target, larger is a finding.

When exactly does the #YerelKalkınmaHamlesi hashtag come off?

When a ministry other than Industry and Technology has a logo on the same material. In that case the guide states that the #YerelKalkınmaHamlesi expression is not used and the Ministry of Industry and Technology logo is used in red. For events without that joint participation, the hashtag version of the ministry logo is the one specified.

Which color values should I give the printer?

The guide publishes three: red as Pantone 199 C, CMYK 7-100-85-1, RGB 219-0-50, HTML DB0032; black as Pantone Black 6 C, CMYK 82-71-59-75, RGB 16-24-32, HTML 101820; and green as Pantone 7481 C, CMYK 100-0-100-0, RGB 0-166-81, HTML 00a651. The guide says these codes must never be departed from, so hand them over as numbers rather than as a sample print.
