The Adapte Visibility Diagnosis: How We Measure a Brand Across Six Channels
The Adapte Visibility Diagnosis is the fixed starting point we use with every brand before a single recommendation is written. It is a measured reading of six channels: Google search and maps, AI answers, video, social media, your brand information across the web, and your field materials. The output is always the same three things, a written report, a gap list, and the three fastest wins. No channel receives a verdict without a number or a screenshot behind it.
We run it identically every time, and that consistency is the whole point. A textile exporter in Gaziantep and a chain of three bakeries in Bursa get the same six readings, because a method that changes per client cannot be compared against itself six months later. The diagnosis takes a few working days once access is in place, and it finishes before any strategy conversation begins. We would rather disagree with you about a number than about an impression.

What does the Adapte Visibility Diagnosis measure?
Six channels, with a defined indicator for each, so that nothing rests on opinion. We measure presence, accuracy and activity separately, because a channel can exist, be wrong and be dormant all at once. What we do not measure is anything we cannot show you the source of. The framing we use for those channels is the same one set out in digital visibility.
Why all six together
One channel read alone misleads. Search data can look healthy while the map listing sits in the wrong category. Reading the six side by side turns a list of complaints into a diagnosis.
What access we ask for
We need read access to Search Console and the Business Profile, plus your social and video handles. If Search Console was never set up, verifying it becomes the first gap-list item. Everything else we check from the outside, exactly as a customer would.
What we read in Google search and maps
Three numbers on the search side and two on the maps side. In Search Console we record impressions, the number of distinct queries you appear for, and index coverage: how many pages are indexed against how many are excluded. In the Business Profile we record views and actions, the review count and the response rate. Those five readings open every report we write.
Impressions, query count and index coverage
Impressions tell us whether you are being shown at all, and the query count tells us across how many different needs. Index coverage is the one that decides the other two, because Google states plainly in its guide to how Search works that indexing is not guaranteed. A page that never clears that stage cannot appear in any channel.
Profile views and reviews
On the maps side we read the views, searches and actions Google exposes in Business Profile performance. We add the review count, the average and the reply rate, which is the one part of the picture you fully control. The primary category is noted separately, because a wrong one quietly removes you from the searches you want.
How we test your brand inside AI assistants
With a fixed question set, asked the same way each quarter. We write nine questions a buyer in your category would realistically ask an assistant, including your city and your product in the wording. Then we run them and record two things separately: whether your brand is named at all, and whether what is said about you is factually correct. Both are logged with the date and the wording used.
Why the question set stays fixed
Answers from assistants vary between runs, so a one-off test proves very little. Holding the same nine questions across quarters makes a change readable rather than anecdotal. The exact wording stays in the report so anyone can repeat it.
Named, linked and described correctly
Being named, being linked and being described accurately are three separate results, and we score them separately. A brand described with an old address or a service it no longer offers has an accuracy problem, not a visibility problem. Why an assistant skips a brand entirely is taken apart in chatgpt does not mention my brand.
What we check in video and social
Presence first, then consistency, then whether either one sends anyone to your site. On video we check whether a channel exists, how many uploads it holds, when the last one went up, and whether the clips are linked from relevant pages. On social we check the same three things per account, plus whether the profile facts match your website. Follower counts are recorded but never used as a conclusion.
YouTube presence
We note the channel name, the upload count, the date of the last upload and whether any clip is embedded on the site. A channel with four uploads from two years ago counts as dormant, not as presence.
Social account consistency
Across each active account we compare the display name, the bio, the linked URL, the contact details and the location. Differences between accounts are the most common finding at this step. Follower numbers look like visibility and are not, a distinction drawn in visibility vs traffic.
Common mistake: Judging a diagnosis by how bad it looks. A long gap list is good news, because every line on it is a cause that can be removed. The reports worth worrying about are the ones where everything measures fine and the phone still does not ring.
How we verify brand information and field materials
By comparing your own facts against every public copy of them. We collect the name, address, phone number, opening hours and category as they appear on your site, in your Business Profile, in directories and in your social bios, then line them up in one sheet. Differences are listed character by character. On the field side we photograph and log what physically exists.
Brand information across directories
Small inconsistencies split the signal that tells a machine you are one business. A second phone number in one directory is a contradiction an answer engine must resolve without your help. We check on-site structured data with AINEO CUSTOS, which flags conflicting business markup page by page.
Field materials
We log signage, vehicle branding, print and fair materials, and whether each carries something searchable: the brand name, a short URL or a working QR code. For projects backed by Turkey’s regional development agencies, we also check the obligations written into the contract, which carry fixed sizes and durations. The binding document is always the visibility guide attached to your own contract.

What the diagnosis report contains
Six headings, always in the same order, so two reports from different quarters sit side by side. The first page carries the summary and the three fastest wins. Everything after it is evidence: the readings, the sources and the date each one was taken.
The report headings
| Heading | What it contains |
|---|---|
| Summary and three fastest wins | Current state in one page, plus the three shortest routes to effect |
| Search and index | Impressions, distinct query count, indexed versus excluded pages |
| Maps and reviews | Views, actions, review count, average, reply rate, category |
| AI answers | The nine fixed questions, mention result and accuracy |
| Video, social and brand information | Presence, last activity, link-backs, facts compared across accounts |
| Field materials and gap list | What exists, what is searchable, every gap ranked by effect and effort |
The gap list and the three fastest wins
The gap list holds every finding with its channel and its evidence. Three items are then marked as the fastest wins: those with the shortest distance between effort and effect. Reading a report like this without being misled by one chart is covered in how to read seo report.
What happens after the diagnosis
The report becomes the baseline, and the baseline becomes the plan. We rerun the same six readings each quarter against the same wording and the same sources, so progress is a comparison rather than a claim. The three fastest wins usually get done first because they need decisions more than they need budget. Everything else gets an order and a threshold.
From report to plan
A gap list without an order is still a to-do list. We sequence by layer, fixing being found before being chosen, the way what is visibility sets out. Turning that into steps with thresholds is the work described in visibility strategy.
When the numbers should move
Index and profile corrections show within weeks. Query count and branded search move on a slower clock, and we say so in the report rather than afterwards. The week-by-week shape of that curve is in how long does seo take.

The diagnosis is the first step of our visibility work, and the report belongs to you whether or not anything follows it. If you would rather run the six readings yourself, the headings above are the order to do it in.

Next Step
Pick one channel and read it honestly today: open Search Console and compare your indexed pages against your excluded ones. That single number explains more silence than any other reading we take, and the rest of the usual causes are listed under why is my business not showing up on google.

Sık Sorulan Sorular
Three things: a written report with six fixed headings, a gap list with the evidence behind each finding, and the three fastest wins. The report also records the date and source of every reading so it can be compared with the next quarter.
Read access to Google Search Console and the Google Business Profile, plus the handles of your social and video accounts. If Search Console has never been verified, that becomes the first item on the gap list rather than a reason to postpone the diagnosis.
With a fixed set of nine questions a buyer in your category would ask, including your city and product in the wording. We record whether your brand is named and whether the description is factually correct, keeping the exact wording so the test can be repeated.
