Starting a business in the new year: a 90-day digital plan that begins in October
Starting a business in the new year in Turkey means your calendar starts in October. If you plan to open your shutters in January 2027, you have roughly 90 days. Two official decisions will change your costs in that window: the revaluation rate set in early November updates state fees, and the minimum wage set in December fixes your staff budget. Both take effect on 1 January.
The digital side does not have to wait for either decision. If you open online before you sign a lease, by late December you can see which district and which search the demand is coming from. In Adapte’s Start a Business Online campaign, applications are open for 30 days, with the last day on 1 November 2026; we give you the setup schedule in writing after the project plan is approved. Google Business Profile review depends on Google, which says the review can take up to 5 business days.
Why does a January launch start in October?
Because the setup schedule is only set once the project plan is approved, and measurement needs at least a month. October is for the name and plan, November for setup, December for measurement, January for opening. Break that order and you open with no data at all. Start in October and you walk into January with a demand map.
Ninety days in four parts
When one month spills into the next, December’s measurement is usually what gets cut short.
The quota is part of the calendar
The campaign takes 12 businesses per round, and a slot in the quota is held for your setup. Apply in October and you can discuss the setup schedule before the busy weeks.

Which official decisions change your costs before January?
Two decisions stand out. The first is the revaluation rate: the rate announced for 2026 on 3 November 2025 is 25.49 percent, but a Presidential decision dated 31 December 2025 holds the increase in taxes and fees at 18.95 percent. The second is the minimum wage: the 2026 figure, announced on 24 December 2025, is TRY 33,030 gross and TRY 28,075.50 net. The 2027 figures are not out yet.
| Decision | Announced for 2026 | When to expect the 2027 figure | What it affects |
|---|---|---|---|
| Revaluation rate | 25.49 percent announced (3 November 2025), 18.95 percent applied to fees (31 December 2025 decision) | Early November; the final figure can change until the last day of the year | State fees, fixed tax amounts |
| Minimum wage | TRY 33,030 gross, TRY 28,075.50 net (24 December 2025) | December, before year end | Staff cost, social security premiums |
| Standard VAT rate | 20 percent | Any change is announced with its start date | Setup and service invoices |
What it means for you: two months of data before you sign a lease
A business that opens online in October signs its January lease with November and December data in hand. You see which district the impressions come from, which product people ask about, how many messages reach WhatsApp. The data does not make the decision for you, but it stops you signing blind.
An example: a patisserie in Beylikdüzü
Say you want to open a small patisserie in Beylikdüzü in January. In October you choose the name and domain; in November the site, profile and WhatsApp go live. In December you see which neighbourhood the New Year cake questions come from. In January you look for a shop on that neighbourhood’s main street.
What the data does not show
Two months of data gives direction, not a sales forecast. A small number does not mean the idea fails; it means the question of where the demand sits needs watching for longer.
What gets done in October: name, domain and application?
October has three jobs: settle the business name, choose the domain and apply for setup. Domain and one year of hosting are registered in your name. Pick the name and domain in the same week and your sign, social accounts and business card carry one name.
- Settle the name. First week of October; short and easy to spell.
- Reserve the domain and three social media accounts under that name. Second week.
- Apply and get your setup week in writing. Third week.
Do not rush the domain
The name on your sign stays for years. You will find six rules in how to choose a business domain.
Application and setup order
The process runs from application to name and plan proposal, then setup, then handover. To hold a slot for a January launch, apply on the Start a Business Online campaign page.
How does the November setup run?
Plan November as the build month; six pieces come together in order, and we give you the exact schedule in writing after the project plan is approved. The campaign’s 6 main and 12 sub-page corporate site, 108 articles across 6 keyword groups and the Google Business Profile all fall into this month. The price is fixed: TRY 36,000 + VAT, paid upfront. With 20 percent VAT that is TRY 43,200; rates can change, so check the current rate on your invoice.
- Domain and one year of hosting, in your name.
- A corporate site with 6 main and 12 sub-pages.
- 108 articles, written by Adapte’s writing team.
- Google Business Profile and three social media accounts.
- WhatsApp Business setup.
- GA4, Search Console and structured data.
Leave room for verification
Business Profile verification depends on Google and can take a few days. That is why the profile opens in the first half of November.
Step by step
You will find the day-by-day breakdown in a new business’s first 30 days, and the build stages in how is a website built.

Which question do Search Console and GA4 answer in December?
December has one question: where is the demand? Search Console counts how many times your site appears for which searches. GA4 shows which city and district visitors come from and which page holds them.
Impressions are not clicks
Impressions tell you how often your site appeared in results. Clicks tell you how many people came in. If impressions rise in December with no clicks, review your titles and page descriptions.
Note the district breakdown
Export the GA4 city and region report once a month. We cover the wider idea of reading local demand in open online before you open a shop.
What do you check online in launch week?
Launch week is for checking, not for starting new work. Customers look on their phone before they walk through the door. If address, hours, phone and WhatsApp button match everywhere, the first visit is easy.
- Is the address or service area correct on the Business Profile?
- Do opening hours match on the profile, site and social media?
- Is the WhatsApp Business greeting message switched on?
- Does the phone number on the site dial when tapped?
- Does Search Console show any error warnings?
- Are the new year’s fee and wage figures in your budget sheet?
The first social post
One post on each of the three accounts is enough: opening day, address or service area, WhatsApp number.
First look after opening
Two weeks after opening, check the same reports again. If the till is not ringing, question visibility first, then price, then the product.
